Issue(s) addressed by this patch: PL-13380 - For an ERS resource created prior to LifeKeeper 9.4.0, the resource properties panel in the LifeKeeper GUI does not show the status of the protected instance on both cluster nodes. (Added in patch revision 7333.1) PL-13460 - For an ERS resource created prior to LifeKeeper 9.4.0, the resource properties panel in the LifeKeeper GUI does not show the name of the process ("ENREPSERVER") in the protected instance. (Added in patch revision 7333.1) PL-13003 - Due to a change made in the SAP HA Script Connector Library (see SAP Note 3018407), interprocess communication may fail between the SAP HA Script Connector Library and SAP SIOS HA Cluster Connector routines on the affected SAP kernel versions and patch levels listed below. (Added in patch revision 7333.1) 3) This patch allows SIOS SAP HA Cluster Connector routines to communicate successfully with the SAP HA Script Connector Library on the affected SAP kernel versions and patch levels listed above. Once the download is complete a verification of the md5sum should be performed. Upgrading the rpm: To check whether the initial release of this hotfix is already installed run the following command: rpm -qa | grep steeleye-lkHOTFIX-SAP-PL-13003 If the package is not already installed, proceed to the "Installing the rpm" section below. If the package is already installed, it can be upgraded to revision 7333.1 by running the following command: rpm -Uvh steeleye-lkHOTFIX-SAP-PL-13003-9.6.0-7333.1.x86_64.rpm Installing the rpm: This patch requires the steeleye-lkSAP package to be installed on the system. The patch should be installed on all systems in the cluster that have that rpm. This patch can be installed on a running system with no impact. The installation of the patch will automatically create backup copies of all patched files. To install the patch run the following command: rpm -ivh steeleye-lkHOTFIX-SAP-PL-13003-9.6.0-7333.1.x86_64.rpm Uninstalling the rpm: On removal of the patch all modified files will be returned to their original pre-patched version. To remove the patch run the following command: rpm -e steeleye-lkHOTFIX-SAP-PL-13003-9.6.0-7333.1.x86_64
