In this example, it is placed under /root (replace the path name according to your environment). 2. Verify the patch is correct: # cd /root # sha256sum -c lk-sles15sp4-support.sha256sum 3. Follow the normal LK installation procedure; until the setup script is executed. 4. Run the setup script to install LK, use the command as follows: # setup --addinfo lk-sles15sp4-support 5. Place the "lk-sles15sp4-support" and "lk-sles15sp4-support.sha256sum" files included with this document in any location on the server that will be upgraded to SLES 15 SP 4. In this example, it is placed under /root (replace the path name according to your environment). 2. Verify the patch is correct: # cd /root # sha256sum -c lk-sles15sp4-support.sha256sum 3. Stop LifeKeeper (run lkstop) 4. Upgrade to SLES 15 SP 4 5. Follow the normal LK installation procedure; until the setup script is executed. 6. Run the setup script to upgrade the LK configuration, use the command as follows: # setup --addinfo lk-sles15sp4-support 7. Complete the setup process following the normal procedure. Note that it is important that LifeKeeper is stopped when doing the upgrade to SLES 15 SP 4. You will have to run 'setup --addinfo lk-sles15sp4-support' after SLES is upgraded to SP 4, per the instructions above. Running 'setup --addinfo lk-sles15sp4-support' will verify that you have the correct kernel. If 'setup' says the wrong kernel is installed, you should NOT start Lifekeeper until that is resolved and 'setup --addinfo lk-sles15sp4-support' completes without error.
