NOTE: This patch must be removed before upgrading LifeKeeper beyond those versions.

Issue(s) addressed by this patch:
PL-20625 - This patch enables the use of AWS IMDSv2.

Description:
This patch enables the use of AWS IMDSv2.
If you don't use AWS, it is not necessary to apply this patch.


Download the patch:
This patch can be found on the SIOS FTP site at the following location:

To download the patch and associated files on Linux perform the following
steps:

1. Run the following commands:
        wget http://ftp.us.sios.com/pickup/core-rpm-PL-20625-9.8.0/steeleye-lkHOTFIX-core-PL-20625-9.8.0-7607.x86_64.rpm
        wget http://ftp.us.sios.com/pickup/core-rpm-PL-20625-9.8.0/steeleye-lkHOTFIX-core-PL-20625-9.8.0-7607.x86_64.rpm.sha256sum
        wget http://ftp.us.sios.com/pickup/core-rpm-PL-20625-9.8.0/readme.txt

2. Verify the download by running the following command:
        sha256sum -c steeleye-lkHOTFIX-core-PL-20625-9.8.0-7607.x86_64.rpm.sha256sum

NOTE: Alternative download methods can be used but must include all files.
Once the download is complete a verification of the sha256sum should be
performed.

Installing the rpm:
This patch requires the following packages to be installed on the system.
  - steeleye-lkIP
  - steeleye-lkECC
The patch should be installed on all systems with these rpm's.
To apply this patch LifeKeeper must be stopped on the node where it is installed.
The installation of the patch will automatically create backup copies of all patched files.

To install the patch run the following command:

        /opt/LifeKeeper/bin/lkcli stop
        rpm -ivh steeleye-lkHOTFIX-core-PL-20625-9.8.0-7607.x86_64.rpm
        /opt/LifeKeeper/bin/lkcli start

Uninstalling the rpm:
On removal of the patch all modified files will be returned to their original
pre-patched version.

To remove the patch run the following command:

        /opt/LifeKeeper/bin/lkcli stop
        rpm -e steeleye-lkHOTFIX-core-PL-20625-9.8.0-7607.x86_64
        /opt/LifeKeeper/bin/lkcli start
